We’ve Just Come Through . . .

We’ve just come through a hot spell here in the great northeast and staying home in air conditioning gave me the chance to do a “keeping up” activities. Once you “catch up” by letting go of accumulated clutter, to maintain a clutter-free environment you must carry out regular maintenance, or “keep up.” Here is my latest project.

Over the years I copied some programs on VCR tapes to watch in the future. Now that the future is here, I realize I have lost interest in watching them. With the new technology of DVD’s taking hold, I am not so wedded to VCR tapes anymore. What did I do? First I eliminated one tape holder which held 12 tapes. Then I culled two tapes a day from my 48 tapes until I eliminated 12 tapes. I now have 12 less tapes and one less tape organizer. Done in less than one week. Pick a small project, use bits of time, keep going ’til you are done. Try it and let me know the results.
